Browse the directories and find someone you'd like to write to.
Write Your Letter
Type your letter online — include your return address so they can reply.
Submit
Submit your letter through the profile page.
We Process It
Every letter is reviewed for safety and facility compliance.
It Is Mailed
We print it, envelope it, and send it via the US Postal Service (or an approved electronic system where the facility permits).
Your Pen Pal Receives It
They get a physical letter in the facility mail room.
They Can Write Back
With your return address, they can respond by mail. Allow 2–4 weeks.
Important: Delivery depends on the recipient's facility and its approved communication systems. Some facilities use electronic inmate-mail systems instead of physical mail. Beyond Beautiful cannot guarantee electronic or physical delivery, and all correspondence is subject to facility rules and review.
